Popes Pride is located 20 minutes south of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on a 160 acre farm with dogs, cats, chickens, horses and kids. We came to know the Leonberger breed in our search for the perfect family dog and protector. This was not an easy task. We were searching for a giant breed, gentle in nature, non-drooling and having open spaces the dog should not wander. We did not want a dog that barked constantly. Last but not least this dog needed to be excellent with children, as we have two active young girls with plenty of friends. Leonberger, the all in one dog. Popes Pride is home to Mshap Lady Nala of Popes Pride, Cedanirose v.h. Roosjeshof import of Belgium, Excalibur Ensson Bohemia import of Czech Republic, and Dexter vom Wittringer Wald import of Germany.
